Anyone who happens to have a load of cash, and wants to buy me something for Christmas, take a look at the Skycar.

How much is your blog worth?
I stumbled across this blog the other day in which a pretty interesting experiment is being conducted by a rather interesting man. Apparently, there is a theory that the human body has been trained to sleep in one long 8 hour block, but that it actually isn’t necessary.
Polyphasic sleep, is retraining the body to sleep in short REM phases throughout the day. Typically these sleep cycles occur every 4 hours and last anywhere between 20-40 minutes. It is the believed that these short periods of sleep actually fulfill all the bodies requirements of REM sleep that it actually needs.
Man, wouldn’t that be great. I do like sleeping, but I love having lots of hours in my day even more. I don’t think I could ever try to retrain my body to do this because my life lacks the consistency of schedule that would allow me to maintain that 4 hours cycle (apparently, once your body is trained for Polyphasic sleep and you are late for a sleeping period, miss one or sleep too long through one you have a crash of sorts).
But wouldn’t adding 30 extra waking hours to your week be nice? It will be interesting to see how Steve holds up.
I typically spend at least a portion of my day browsing around various independent game developer forums and one article that really caught my eye was the following.
Reading through this guy’s log during his week spent developing this RPG was really interesting. Very impressive that he kept himself on target and actually reached his goal.
I found his summary points were very applicable to software development in general. Hmmm…..I wonder if I could do the same thing?
Not sure Wifey would enjoy losing even MORE of my time to the computer
While surfing today (using Fire Fox of course), I came across this fine example of how Microsoft Web Sites validate the browser your currently using.

Perhaps all the new features in IE7 can be attributed to FireFox source? Or, perhaps Microsoft Web Site Developers are just lazy…you decide!
I know…I haven’t posted in forever. But this just weirded me out and I had to share!

I found it here (interesting thread)…
